LUMBERJACK SCHEDULE — ASSEMBLY SECOND HOUR
Benchmarks
9.4.2.2 Determine a theme or central idea of a text and analyze in detail its development over the course of the text, including how it emerges and is shaped and refined by specific details; provide an objective summary of the text.

9.7.1.1 Write arguments to support claims in an analysis of substantive topics or texts, using valid reasoning and relevant and sufficient evidence.

Activities

  • Rough draft of Much Ado essay due today
  • Optional extra credit peer review — students that are done with their rough draft should be checked off by myself, Ms. Ewert, or Ms. Krause, and then they may choose to complete the peer review. When they have completed that, they may go over to the English lab to type up their final draft.
  • Students that are not done with their rough draft need to finish

Second Hour: We go to the assembly at 10:50

thesis statements, outlines, and rough drafts need to be turned in with final draft.

Papers due by the start of the hour on Wednesday
Much Ado About Nothing Test is on Thursday

  • Review session for upcoming test:
    • Around the world
    • Students write a 5 question quiz for a peer. Exchange quizzes, complete, and then grade the quiz you created. Hand these in. 5 points.
    • Eggspert or race to the board
