Monday, December 14

• Focused Free Write: THE MISSING CHAPTER: Think of a book, movie, or TV show you enjoyed that ended too soon, or ended in a frustrating, aggravating way. Write a new ending for those characters.

• Fan Fiction PowerPoint
• Character Analysis Activity — hang on to these — we will be doing an activity with them tomorrow.

• I spaced off the focused free writes for poetry — these will be due tomorrow:

Tuesday, December 15

• Focused Free Write: OUTSIDE POINT OF VIEW: Rewrite a scene from a book, movie, or TV show from a minor character’s point of view. OR Continue writing the scene you started yesterday — just make sure and write today’s date where you start writing today.

• Hand in Poetry Free Writes
• Watch Formatting Dialogue video and 10 Tips for writing Dialogue video.
• Fan Fiction Character Dialogue Activity

Wednesday, December 16

• Focused Free Write: PREQUEL: Write a scene that happens before the start of your canon. OR Continue a scene from the last two days. Remember to write today’s date where today’s writing starts.

• Finish dialogue activity and hand in
• Discuss Drabbles and begin Drabble writing assignment

Thursday, December 17

• Focused Free Write: Continue a scene from one of the last three days. Remember to write today’s date where today’s writing starts.
• Finish Drabble — these are due at the end of the hour.
• Read Funny for tomorrow. We will be discussing it then.
• Make mask for our picture for the website
• Introduce Fan Fiction assignment.

Friday, December 18

• Worked on Wordpress site — One more piece of writing must be posted by the end of the hour.
• Introduced Fan Fiction assignment
